Getting Started with our WordPress Plugin

Environment

Ideally you should install our WordPress plugin in an exposed staging environment. If you don't have one available, you can install the plugin in your production environment. However, we recommend that you install the plugin in a staging environment first, so you can test it and make sure it works as expected.

Access

Once you have determined what environment you would like to install our plugin on please provide access to the Spiny team. A member of our team can install and activate the plugin or you can follow the steps below if you would prefer to do this yourself.

Installation & Activation (Manual)

A member of our team will send the plugin in a zip file. You can install it by going to your WordPress admin panel and clicking on Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Then, upload the zip file and click on Install Now. Once installed please activate the plugin.

Configuration

A member of our team will handle configuring the plugin with all of the necessary parameters to get it up and running. Once the plugin is configured and our libraries are running on page your site will begin transmitting data to our analytics platform and, if you've opted in, ads will begin to be served on your site.
